Born in South Africa, Debi grew up in Johannesburg and moved to Fiji in 2010 where she became a Fiji Citizen at the end of 2018.

Her working life has always been in roles that require exemplary customer care including building and nurturing business relationships. Debi has experience in the insurance industry, mining recruitment industry and real estate in Fiji.
